what tires for highway?

Hey. What Tires do you guys suggest for Highway Driving? I about 40 minutes to work everyday and mainly want something quiet (Don't know if this is possible a civic?) I don't think I really need much dry traction, since the civic doesn't put out a lot of power and it's just for daily driving (correct me if i's wrong). I just want something that can handle water well and perhaps add some comfort for the commute. I am currently on a stock suspension with tokico blues. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you. (commute is in lower philadelphia area I-95).

I have khumo solus kh16 tires and really like them. They are very quiet and smooth while still being pretty grippy. The only that that I dont like so far is that they pull you into every groove on the road at high speeds.

Re: what tires for highway?

I'll give you my thoughts if you let me know how you like those tokico blues

I currently have Bridgestone turenza serenity tires on my stock 15" wheels. These are $$ tires at anywhere from 100-125 each depending on where you get them. The smallest size they come in is 195/65/15 so they are very slightly oversized. My speedo reads 68mph when my gps says 70mph so its not bad at all and as the tread wears down the error will shrink. On that note they are also 70000 mile tires.
They are heavy, tough touring tires and I have noticed a slight drop in mpg but I am happy to trade that for how quiet and smooth they are. They really feel at home cruising at highway speed. The faster you go the more responsive they become, but in city traffic they don't feel quite a zippy or wired as some.

I have Primewells installed on my civic and they are comfortably quiet. I have them on my stock 14's.

Hey I have an even better idea. I work at Firestone. Tuesday is the next day I work. I'll get some estimates just give me your rim size, tire width and aspect ratio.

Riken Raptor ZR tires are great! I have them on my Civic. Quiet, amazing handling, and great in different weather situations.
