How much is this dropped, size of wheels?

Can someone tell me how much of a drop they think the following has and what size are the rims? They look 17ish to me. But looking at the rear, the car doesn't appear to have much of a drop at all.

Also, here is my car. Rather stock right now. Looking at getting some 15" aftermarket rims, maybe rotas like the ones on the car above or a different style of rota, sidemarkers and possibly foglights.

I know everyone insists on a drop but 1) it's expensive and 2) i scrape on my drive now if i don't go extremely slow. I dunno what to do about the drop...gah!

My car...crappy pics...

Final question, you guys that have drops and a lot of mods, do you think when you go to trade in later in life, say 5 years when the car is 5-6 years old, will it be necessary to return to stock? I'd hate to have to pay someone again to remove the drop if I could sell it that way and maybe take a bit of a hit on trade in value.

Thanks!

IMO 15s are too small for the sedan. i used to have 15' rota gt3 and it looks way too small for my taste. im riding on 205/40/16 and lovin it now. looking to up to 205/50/16 cuz the car is too low. scraps everything. il show you a pic.

the blue sedan looks like its on 205/40/17 with 1.7" drop -+

have you tried getting in your driveway sideways/angled? im sure everyone can agree that going larger in wheel diameter with no drop ends up looking like a tonka toy. if i were in your situation, i would get some wheels with an eibach pro kit drop (.75-1").

Those rims are definetly 17's, I got the same ones in a different colour though. As for the drop, it looks to be around 1.5 all around. I would say he's dropped on H&R's, or Tein S-techs.
