So I'm looking for a header for my 04 civic vp. From what I've read the vp dx ex etc.. are all the same with diff trim/options. So why will some headers only fit certain trims? Because of the cat? My stock exh manifold is cracked and noisy, so lookin 4 quiet and reliable. Don't care bout the cat. Will all headers for 04 civics bolt up to any 04 civic?

I believe a vp has the same setup as a dx/Lx, which is diferent then a ex. Yes they are different trims but ex has the VTEC motor.
