Hello I have a Question what are the differences between honda civic
ex to es
and
lx to ls

I know that ex and lx have 1.7L engine and es and ls have 1.6L engine

are they different in any other way?

Please post a specific year of the car, and the country or area the car was built for (market).

Example: US market 7th gen (01-05) didn't get a 1.6 engine.

I personally don't have the information you are looking for. I mainly have access to technical info for US market cars. I really don't even have info for Canadian market cars, and there are some differences.

I know the cars can be built with different options and equipment for various markets around the world.

If nobody else chimes in with handy information, perhaps someone local to you (a dealer?) would be better able to answer your questions than I.

Each market has subtle differences. Canada for example has options for heated seats in many vehicles, where that is not an option in most markets. There are usually not significant differences between markets, however. I am fairly certain, the d16w7 is a de-stroked version of the d17a1 and d17a2 which are found in North American markets to comply with differing vehicle insurance practices. Unfortunately, that's the best I can do.
