trunk latch

my trunk latch broke in my 2002 civic lx, trying to find a replacement and no one has one for a decent price. the plastic piece broke off about a month ago and now even if i slam the trunk it wont close, so it bungee'd down right now, anyone got any ideas of where i could get on cheap?

Depending where you live i have to agree. Junkyards are your best bet..they have online junkyards too..

they have online junkyards too..
Every time I used one of those, I had some dude from India calling me and trying to charge me almost brand new price on an item.... KMA

^ yeah that happens to. LOL.. even some local places now are starting to get closer to retail price on thier parts..economy sux.

This is on the topic of Junk yards so i can post it here... I just had to pay $46 for a fuel rail and some lines for my buddy's Danger ranger...and only because it had a fuel regulator on it....

I am not going to use the rail or regulator so I might try to sell it on a forum or craigslist....
