Hey guys
i have a opportunity to buy 2 ractive racing seats for 100 bucks.
comes with rails and sliders to mount up to a late 80s to early 90s civic.
What do i have to do/buy to install the seats in my 04 civic ex/si.

You'll either need to buy appropriate rails for your car or modify the current rails to install them.

Which rails would fit ractive seats ? And if i modify stock rails will i be able to put the stock seats back in later on ?

Ractive rails designed for those seats to fit an 01-05 civic would fit.

And no, you probably won't be able to reuse the rails if you modify them.

I'd just hit up google and search..

You might still be able to find a way to mount your stock rails to the seats easily, there's no set rules on these things so just experiment. Post your results and some pics of the seats.

I honestly dont even know how seats work, dont know what rails look like either. :s

Got 2 seats for 40 bucks! not in perfect shape but not bad!

It's just a matter of taking your stock seats out and then seeing how the ractive ones fit on the rails. You might have to drill new holes. Do a good job though. The last thing you need is for the seat to break loose during an accident.
