For some reason I've always had a problem with my arm hitting the armrest before my hand reaches the ****.

I've got an 04 mt w/ the center console.

I was messing around and found that it was perfect with my shift **** only screwed on two or three revolutions from the top rather than screwed all the way on.

Is there any nut/washer combo's or anything that would allow me to only screw the **** on a small amount and have it fit tightly?

man, the shifter already feels long as stock, and u want to extend it????!!! i dont know of any way to do this, but good luck

it's never really been comfortable. I feel like im reaching down for the shifter and I hate it. For those with the center console I'm sure you understand what I'm talking about.
