Help! 94 ex coupe, 5spd, clunking when I accelerate hard

I have a 94 ex coupe 5 speed, just swapped motor a few months ago, noticed a small clunk only every now and then when I would take off fast, I new the mounts weren't in the best shape. I recently had to pull the motor again to install a clutch and decided to put all new mounts on while I was at it. Now EVERY time I take off fast I hear a loud clunking that I can also feel through the floor and in the steerin wheel. Almost feels like the rear mount t bracket is smacking the steering rack. At least that's what I've narrowed it down to, but I have brand new mounts so Im 75% it's not that but you never kno. Also thought maybe CV joints, but it doesn't make the noise while turning, only at hard acceleration, can anyone help???

Re: Help! 94 ex coupe, 5spd, clunking when I accelerate hard

not a honda guy by any means however I would start with all bushings:
1. Worn motor mount
(although you said you changed)
2. Worn sub frame bushings
3. Worn strut
4. Worn or loose upper strut mount
5. Worn tie rod ends
6. Worn ball joints
7. Worn wheel bearings

is it only when you take off fast or if your driving stay in the same gear and hit the gas does it do it? or when you shift? clutch engaged or not?
