Need help with RPMs and Tachometer
Need help with RPMs and Tachometer
I recently bought a standard 93 civic lx but crazy thing is... It had no tachometer so I had no real idea when to shift, I had to guess it when I shifted but I want to be sure, so is there any tachometers I can buy that are made for civics and what goes into installing a standalone Tachometer.

Re: Need help with RPMs and Tachometer
I shift by sound and feel, never needed to see a tach.
Check out the parts stores, the simplest would have one or a couple wires to connect inside the car (power and lights), and one wire run to the ignition coil (or tach signal test connector if equipped) in the engine compartment.
