transmission

good day members i recently purchased a 94 civic ex, the car will go into drive, and reverse but after a few minutes it wont do anything, could this be a speed sensor issue or do i need a new transmission, the car is an automatic

What do you mean it won't do anything? Like, it pops out of gear, it stops dead, or you can't shift?
