Good Deal or Not - '90 Civic LX

Hope this is in the right place, but I'm new to this forum. I am starting a new job and want a gas saver so I don't spend a fortune putting diesel in my truck. I found a 1990 Civic LX Sedan for $1750. It only has 144,254 miles on the 1.5L motor. It has power locks, windows, a/c, and an auto transmission. It has a few dents in it and a few rust spots but it is 24 years old. Could anyone help me out on maybe what to look at on the car or if it's even worth going to look at? Thanks

Check for transmission slip and if the timing belt was done. It probably has some worn suspension components so I might plan on having some money for that. Easy to do if you are a DIYer.
