94 honda civic coupe worth it?
Just came across a craigslist post for a 1994 honda civic coupe
with 190,000 miles, 5 speed, and a d-16 engine. They are asking 1700
I have yet to see the car in person but do you think this would be a good buy from the information that I have? I've been doing some digging and everyone seems to be saying d-16 engines suck? Help pleaseeeeeee

+1 on GolNat, higher mileage is usually a good indicator of how worn out the thing is, although if it was meticulously maintained it could be in better shape than a vehicle with half its mileage. Maybe be prepared to put in a grand or two for proper repairs in case the crap really hits the fan. You'd still be getting a pretty cheap car.
The D16 is still a d-series engine... it works for the normal driver but if you want to race it or something you'll want to boost or swap it.
