ok so I have a 94 civic with y8 swap,obd1 wiring harness and p28 ecu,it was breaking up when I hit mid pedal so I changed the dizzy and now it cuts off randomly;I've swapped another dizzy on it and it does the same thing and the cel is 8 meaning tdc sensor,I'm lost and don't know what to do pls help,thanks in advance

How's the timing? Can you put the old dizzy back on and see if it goes back to your mid pedal problem?

And have you checked the idle air control valve?

timing is dead on and I can't put the old one back on bc it's gone;and idle air control valve is bad but that won't shut the car off in the middle of driving it

May I ask why is it still obd1 and not obd2 wiring?

google search for testing your dizzy and what wires to test for the TDC sensor, you may have a short in your harness or your ecu.
