I have recently swapped my 95 civic dx motor with a 95 civic ex 1.6L vetech motor. I swapped the engine because i blew the headgasket and it had high mileageon it, so instead of fixing it i bought a motor from the junkyard. they told me that i could use the computer and wiring harness from the 95 dx with the ex motor and jsut not plug in the vtech. the engine is completley in and now has no spark. i have replaced the ignition control module and the distributor. still no spark, when i cycle the key i cannot hear the fuel pump cycle on, but when i accessed the fuel pump under hte back seat and hooked it up to jumpers i heard it work. the question is should i jsut buy a ECU and wiring harness for the EX motor, or any suggestions as to why its not sparking with the current set up. thanks!
