Re: ok how to make it faster 93 5 spd stock?
are you looking for upgrades, or to just keep it factory?
cuz if your looking for upgrades, i would go for a cold air, a high flow cat or a cat back exhaust system

driver diet. then car diet.
light car, low power, low cubic feet. not so easy to get power from them. what engine, for starters? could be anything under the hood.

am afraid you not going to get much for cheap then...
cubic feet - a higher displacement car might get much more raw hp with cheaper mods, but then they have worse designed parts, so many are very restrictive parts (no need to worry, they will have enough power just for the size of engine anyway).
smaller engines have better attentuion on design, so generally it's hard to get high raw gains. 1% of 100 hp is 1hp, 1% on a 500hp will give you 5HP. simple as that...
sorry, they designed to be gas sippers, so imp[roving suspension and decreasing weight usually give you more oomph than engine mods.

I so agree with that statement.
When I bought my 6th gen I did a bunch of reading about 'upgrades' and in the end of the day you could spend alot of money and time with an end result of maybe 10 hp. Seemed pretty pointless to me.
By Top Gear math a well maintained car losses about 1 hp per year so a 10 hp gain would bring you back to around original hp. They did a bit where they tried to make a Citoren sedan perform as well as an Evo by modding it. I think they spent $5000 UK pounds and got zero extra performance out of it. They did wheels, brakes, and suspension. Then they dynoed it and discovered it was down 40hp from it original #'s. They ended up giving it a tune up, plugs, wires, rotor, cap, etc and regained all that lost hp.
Something to think about...
The only extra stuff I ever have in my car is and pencil and a tire gauge.
