I need to replace all hoses on my 1994 civic SI with a JDM 1993 B16A engine, (all 10) the part numbers are tricky, i looked up the parts for both the 1994 civic SI and the 1994 Del Sol VTEC, and the first 5 numbers (XXXXX-XXX-XXX) of each part from honda are the same matching numbers for both the civic and delsol, but the next 3 numbers/letters are different, and so are the following 3 numbers/letters.

Are these parts the same on both cars, since the first 5 numbers in the OEM honda part numbers are the same?

The reason im asking is the price for the civic SI part numbers are much cheaper than the parts listed for the delsol VTEC

google an engine diagram for the motor you have...most of the time it will have part numbers...or call a dealer maybe? tell them what motor you have? or take you hoses in to an auto parts store and see if they can match one up....

if the first 5 numbers on a honda part are the same, but the next 6 numbers are different is it the same part made somewhere else?
