FWD to RWD

I have an 1986 Honda CRX 5spd. Now would it be possible to turn the engine 90 degrees to make it RWD? Adding and connecting all the new essentials for RWD cars of course. But is it possible? And how?

Re: FWD to RWD

It's possible using a AWD wagon drive train, there's a massive amount of fabrication involved.

Re: FWD to RWD

i am not sure the AWD drive train is made to take all the torque in the rear only...
swapping in a F20 and all the s2k parts was done already and sounds easier to do, still massive fabrication and cutting required. easier to get a s2k...
turning engine 90 degress? yeah, easy. will it work? don't know. Anyway, the ones that have it done did not care to ask in the first place, they simply went and tried, so yer already starting weak. That is what it takes to actually DO it.
