How can I make Vtec kick in harder

I just want to know if I can make my Vtec pop off harder on my 93 civic with a d16 motor. I don't want to go turbo so I was just thinking that I could have a crazy Vtec Tht pops off really hard

vtec "pop" lol for lack of better word.. When it engages try to push on the dash board.and lean forward, I think it'll give u a little umph

So let me get this straight... You want the car to sound faster by having the vtec kick in "harder" lol why dont you actually get a turbo, then your car will be faster. I think you will have more luck this way.
