i just installed a tacho on my 93 civic dx...i put the red wire to the switch, the white wire to my lights, the black to a bolt, and the green wire to the blue wire in the front left side under the hood...wen i turn on the car nd rev it or wen im driving the rpm will only go up to 3500 rpm max..

wat could be the problem?

plz help me out..

Check the back of the tach. There should be a switch to set it for the # of cylinders and make sure it's set for 4.

it doesn't have a switch...i bought it off my friend and he said it worked fine on his civic and integra.

on the tacho, or the whole car will not rev over 3500??

the tacho...i pushed the car to its max rev nd the tacho only goes to 3500.
