civic issues possibly solved...

so under a cold crank my car will stall and sputter alot lol. well ive ran through about 1237847124 ideas and tests as well as r&r's. I pulled the coolant temp sensor today and cleaned it and alas it still sputtered but not nearly as bad.....sounds like i am on the right track this time. Ive never heard of a bad sensor with no dtc though so its a little odd lol.

Make sure that you top off your coolant, and bleed out any air in the system. I've had that same problem quite a few times. I've had my car overheat twice, and both times I would get the sputtering high-to-low idle for the week beforehand.

Don't know exactly what causes this, but give it a try and see what you come up with.

see mines overheated previously due to a bad water pump. but it hasnt overheated in a year and this problem has been persistant. I mean it still sputters a bit now after cleaning it but its not NEARLY as bad. It sputtered so bad thought i was cammed with some stage 3 bisi's. and shook the whole f***in car. thx for the info tho dude.
