D15 specs for rebuild
Pulled one of my older engines out of the pile for a refresh. I thought it was a d15b2. Somewhere I found good specs on all the models, but of course I cant find it now!
The engine that was disassembled has larger bearing journals than the specs I printed out, so I want to confirm just what it is! Anyone know if they enlarged journal diameters with different models?
That engine was using a LOT of oil but surprisingly the only noticeable wear was on the rod bearings! It did also lose a chunk of one exhaust valve too.
Engine came out of an 89 Civic Wagon. and was DPFI.
