ok so i wanted to build my first car....thinking it would be hard but not this much of a pain in the ***...so i bought a 94 civic ex (eg) shell....then i bought a d15b2..and i changed the dizzy and changed it from dpfi to mpfi ...then bought a obd1 engine harness...installed a d16y8 hydro tranny ...got a free p75 ecu (integra ecu) pieced it all together...fuel pump doesnt work and theres no spark....main relay checks ok...ecu checks ok...all fuses are good....could this be a ecu compatabilty issue? if it is what ecu should i use? take note that i said its an older d15b2 in a newer 94 civic ex. 94 civic ex's came stock d16z6...i have no money for another swap i need to make this work or else i have to junk the whole car and lose all my moneys worth someone please help me!!!

For one why did you put the ef motor in a eg. And second for the d15b2 you need that ecu not from a integra.

bcuz it was the only motor i found in my budget bro ..this is a recession lmao i wanna do an ls swap as soon as i get the money for it but to make money i need this motor to run so i can get to work.....and i know an integra ecu isnt suppose to work but i tryed a p28 and stilll.....sadly ...nothing.....so do i need to get an ecu out of an ef and get a step up ecu harness from obdo to obd1?

Hell all d series motors are dirt cheap. You can get them for like 200$. And you need the ecu that works with the d15b2.

yeaa i know they are but i couldnt find any lol ok so ur saying to get an ecu from and ef and get a conversion kit for the ecu to connect to my car and my problem should be solved?

It should unless there is something wrong with the fuel pump or the spark plugs/wires, coil.

problem solved!!!! it was the thrmostat ground...car runs good even with the p75 xD thnx guyz

Wow the one thing most people forget to hook back up that can cause alot of problems. Still weird that it runs off that ecu.

yea i know but it revs at 4 rpms...i think it may bcuz i started it without a muffler and i was running open headers
