vtec failure?
i have 95 civic ex that has been the perfect car for a long time but now it seams that the vtec is not engaging ant the rev limiter is activated at 6500 instead of the previous 8000. the vtec selenoid has been replaced in an effort to remidy this but still not working.

yes, oil has been checked many times, vtec selenoid gasket also changed to insure proper seal.

hmm when you replaced the solenoid, did you also replace the oil pressure sensor?

yup... it was replaced as a unit.
