1993 civic timimg belt

I had a question about a 1993 civic dx 1.5 sohc I just bought a few weeks ago with 41,255 original miles. the car runs great but wanted to know if I should change the timing belt since it's never been done and it is a 15yr old car. Any recommendations in what I should do?

Open the timing cover and inspect the belt. But the recommended interval is 90k to change the belt.
