turbo a d15

OK guys, found a turbo for a d15, this was on a 95 civic, just wanting to know if this is a good fit for my 89 hatch. does anyone know if this will work and if not what would I need to complete the job, not to worried about spending a few buck I can pick up the turbo complete with wg intercooler manifold and ecu for 200.00 guy crashed the car with out any insurance, trying to recover what he can out of it, I do not know who's makes this turbo yet, I thought I would ask a few questions before I procede,My d15 already has had the lower end done and a new head. not to worried about the motor since I would run low boost only, not trying to make a rocket out of this thing , just trying to bring it up from the 70hp to something above 120, I dont need a lot I daily drive this thing and auto cross on the weekends with my son,and does anyone one know if a d15 turbo would fit a d16, once I find a donner car I may end up doing the swap. Thanks to anyone who has some input.

Re: turbo a d15

it should work, pretty much all the same ****, is urs dpfi or mpfi?
there might be a little modifying to do to make it fit, but it shouldnt be all that hard if ur slightly mechanically inclined

i also haev a 88 hatch with a d15b2 engine, i also have a d16A, i was thinkin of swaping in the d16a and turbo'ing it, but if i might just swap out the tranny (since my clutch is dead and i have a clutch for a 90 tranny) and just turbo the one i have so i dont care if i blow it, then learn some **** n swap in the d16a

long story short, it should work, the d15s not the best d series, but if u wanna turbo it, all the power to u, just make sure u get a good tune

and look into a d16 if u wanna easy swap, or a b series if u want.

anyways gl and keep us updated
