what is the benifit of using a one step colder spark plugs?

Hi all,

I have a question regards the spark plugs in my 97 Civic EX, i had the following mods:
1- AEM SRI.
2- GReddy EVO II cat back exhaust system.
3- 17" rims with 205/40/17 tires.

the stock spark plugs are group 5 temperature wise (as NJK ZFR5F-11), what is the benefit of going one step colder to (NJK FR6F-11) in term of performance, gas mileage??

i tried to search but i could not find any thing

Thanks
