Coilovers help!

Hey I'm new to the civic game. I'm fairly new to the stance game as well. And I know stance is bad and what not but it's what I like. Anyway straight to my current question, I just bought some function and form coilovers from a friend and to go low I need to move the spring seat higher in the rear. I've moved it higher so the spring is some what compressed between the seat and the top hat. I set the car down with my desired wheels and it's not as low as the front. But to go lower I need to move the seat higher so I can adjust the ride height. As of right now the spring seat is touching the ride height seat so I can't go lower. If I compress the spring too much what would happen? If it's bad should I get extended top hats? Are they any good? Please let me know. Thanks for sharing your knowledge ✌🏼

Re: Coilovers help!

You should buy shorter springs. You compress them to much they won’t act like springs anymore.

Check out ground control for custom springs.

Re: Coilovers help!

What you have might be as short as you can go. I would talk with Ground Control about it. They might be able to wind you a tighter spring. Also a higher spring rate might help. Combining the higher spring rate with a shorter spring might work. I have no personal experience in this though.

Extended top hats would also help with getting it lower. I have never used them.
