Driver Door wiring connection

So my wires in the C556 connector (I believe it is where the floor harness connects to the driver door harness) are majorly messed up. Some have broken away from the pins and other are completely broken apart 2 inches away from the connector. It looks like my best options are go to the junkyard and hope to find something similar that I can solder to my old lines. The other option if is repin the connection. So I looked at the diagram and was wondering how to look at it. Should I look at this diagram as if the end of the wires are facing towards me or away from me.

Re: Driver Door wiring connection

Look for the colors of the wires that are still in the connector and match them up with the diagram and its positions to be positive about which side of the connector the diagram is showing.

Not kidding. I've worked with wiring on so many different car lines and diagrams that may show the wiring positions from either side, this is the only way I can ever be absolutely sure.

I think this is showing the back side of the connector, the side the wires are sticking out of.
