1996 Civic EX broken wires at door hinge area

1996 Civic EX coupe has inop windows due to broken wires at door hinge area. Too tight to clearly see what the connectors look like. Anyone have a picture or detailed description of what is there so I can avoid breaking old plastic? Thanks.

Take off door skins, use a multi meter to find which wire is broken, then solder in your own wire.

I did the same on my 2002, it took about 30min.

No need to remove the door panel.
The harness unplugs from the outside of the door in the hinge area.

It is part of the cars floor wiring harness. You can poke the end through the pillar so you can work with it on the floor of the car much easier than trying to squeeze your body into the front edge of the door.

No, I don't have pics of those connectors handy...but google sure does
