Driver side of hood sticks up..... HELP!!!!!

Hi when I bought my car, the side of the hood was already sticking up so I dont know what happened or how to fix it. I tried unbolting the hood and rebolting it, and pushing down on it hard, yet no luck. This isn't my picture but it basically looks like this.

Help please... I want a more flush look to my car. I feel like I have to replace the hood with a different one, but I'm not sure if the problem will still remain. Thank you for reading

Re: Driver side of hood sticks up..... HELP!!!!!

Is it the same on both sides?

Some people install aftermarket hood spacers to vent the engine bay.

In theory this lowers engine temperatures and sends a low pressure hot air pocket over your car instead of letting it rush under the car. This is racing spec stuff but some people install them on street cars for looks.

If you find these installed on your hood hinges remove them.

No... the hinges are directly bolted onto the hood; there's no spacers between them. I feel like it could be the hinges, should I try replacing them?

Was it a front end collision rebuild?

If so the hinge could be bent.

Maybe remove the hinge and try to bend it down a bit.

The most obvious one - do both side hinges look the same, mirrored?
