Re: muffler

OEM muffler from a junk yard if you don't want sound.

If you want a little sound a magnaflow or Flowmaster would be good.

Hi,

I own a 1997 Civic HX. Currently the nearest junkyard near me only have a 2001 and 85 to 94 civic. Would any of these mufflers fit my 97 civic?

Thanks!

No it shouldn't make a difference. Most mufflers are going to be universal so you will either have to make it fit with clamps and a hanger or have a muffler shop weld it on for you. Call local shop s and get prices, should be pretty cheap. You can spend a little more money and get a direct fit muffler if you would like.

Since you have a different generation civic I would say no they will not fit. Mufflers are something that can be welded on by a muffler shop or you could use clamps. A muffler shop could probably get you a muffler and custom fit it for not to much money.
