hello everyone, its been a couple years now since i changed civics, well it has happened a couple days ago I had purchased a 2000 Civic Si, Electron Blue Pearl.
Its a canadian Si so D16y8, its very clean and has 220 000 km.
I will be sitting the car on some Polished GSR blades, and the springs in it are Eiboch sportline on tokico blues!
please send the feed back !

Updates, so I had degreased the engine and I found that the block is a JDM D15B vtec block and looking at the Head stamp I see it is a y8 head, explains why it pulls hard for a D SOHC, almost has a B vtec cross over. I had replaced the original s40 tranny because of the usual input shaft bearing gone and I wanted somrhing a little shorter and more reliable so I picked up a s8g (short gear tranny) put a new stage 2 clutch with a 10lbs flywheel. real nice.

No major plans as it is a commuter, I may put some coilovers in it to adjust the height a little, not a big fan of how the eiboch springs make the car sit. other then that just try to make it mint, possibly throw an authentic Si lip on it, and should be good, now if the motor ever goes or a find a hell of a good deal or written off US Si or SiR(B16) then I would be doing a full swap over. But as for now i am actually really happy with it. May do the PL premium motor mount mod to stiffen them up a little as the mounts are shot.
