Hi there, I'm not sure if there's an answer to this question already, but I'm just looking for some ideas,
I have a 1999 civic hatchback, had it for about a year now, and it doesn't seem to be running as well as it did when I first got it, I'm really noticing a difference in the gas mileage,(not good at all)
it also seems to skip, or feel like its skipping sometimes when I accelerate.
I'm just wondering if anyone has any tips on things I can do to make it work a little better, like would changing the fuel filter, air filter...ect help?

any CEL's ? clean everything, IAC throttle, maybe seafoam, change fuel filter, new plugs and wires check the dizzy, just go back to basics make sure your getting proper Air/Fuel/Spark

Old o2 sensors can lower your mpg also. Have you been driving less highway and more stop and go then you were a year ago?
