98 LX inspection.

I got an inspection the other day and this is what they said (see picture) the total for parts and labor is a little over 2700$. Over priced? And what should I take care of first for safety? Wipers, tint, and headlight are already fixed.

Maryland has a tough inspection! I have had a few cars tagged in md. The suspension stuff is important, you don't want any of that to fail. Some of it you can do yourself to save some money. It might not hurt to get another shops opinion also $2700 seems like a lot!

Hood release cable? I just use pliers to tug at the cable where the plastic thing broke off, surely that isn't required
