2010 Civic Hybrid

Hello all,

I'm considering purchasing a 2010 Civic hybrid for my 16 year old daughter. I will be getting a Pre-Purchase Inspection. I am wondering what I should have the mechanic make sure to check?

Are there any known mechanical issues with this year? It has 99,600 miles on it.

All the normal stuff one would inspect during any prepurchase inspection.

Nothing really stands out in my mind as drastically different from regular Civics of the same age range.

An average mechanic can't evaluate the IMA battery pack, but it should have warranty coverage for 10 years/150,000 miles.

Have your dealership check the VIN for any recalls, and any warranty coverage, and make sure the car has not been 'branded' (as in totaled or something)
