so my girlfriend wrecked my car. Back left right suspension
Hello, I am new to this forum and what a way to start out. I let my girlfriend borrow my car yesterday to go to school (big mistake). I was with her when it happened. I met up with her and we started heading home. She was going 50 in a 15!!! Slamed my little honda against the sidewalk curb. I made her pull the car off the road. I got in it and proceeded to drive, I heard rubbing on the back right. Get out jack the car up, wheel is bent. The A arm? Or control arm is totally bent, blew the strut out. I am wondering can I go to a salvage yard and pull the whole back right assembly for a 96-00 honda civic to fit my 98 coupe civic? Also do I have to pull it from just a coupe or can it be a sedan?
Thank you for your time, I am mechanically inclined. I use to own a BMW 93, did a lot of work on it, couldn't afford the gas and got this civic.
Also is there a site like realoem.com to where I can enter my VIN # and get the exact diagram of the back right suspension for my civic?
Thanks once again

majestic honda has parts diagrams which show the individual parts within the different assemblies, and you should have no problem pulling from a coupe or hatch or sedan to get the parts you need.

hey buddy,
left or right is the same for lower and upper arms same with struts, trailing arms will be different.
and anything from 96-00 will work for you !
Happy hunting
