Polyurethane front and rear lips, paint?

I see on ebay I can buy front and rear lips as well as other accessories that make my car go super fast (+10 hp...right?) just kidding...anyway I see that they're unpainted polyurethane pieces. I see these lips all over civic on the internet but they're painted to match the car. Can I buy these lips painted the same color as my car, do I have to primer and paint them myself, and if so where do I get the exact paint?

The process for poly/plastic is pretty much the same.

Clean with wax/degreaser and scotch pad, rinse.
Sand w/ 220
Sand w/ 400
Wash with dawn, and rinse well.
Dry
Tack cloth
Adhesion promoter
Tack cloth
Primer
Sand with 600
Base coat
Clear
Let cure a few days
Sand with 1000-1500
Polish

I did my front and sides with spray cans, went to an autobody store and they matched color with VIN, not 100%, but close enough considering the paint on body is like 7 years old.

Thanks for the info. When you say sand it down, do you mean do a really good scrub or just run the sand paper over a few times to get it smooth? Is there a specific primer, clear coat, and polish brand you would recommend?

What kind of rims are those? GT3's? look fresh

you can also take the parts to a body shop if you want a more professional look. some colors are very hard to match tho.

I think my body shop only charged me like $50-60 to paint my lips and it came out pretty good.

That's cheap, can't even do it yourself for that kind of money.
I don't know anyone with hook-ups, so gotta do everything myself..lol

a trick is to find a friend in the shop and then bring your parts when they are spraying another car with the same paint code. then they can use the "leftovers" for your parts that normally would be thrown out, so they charge you less. you have to wait a bit longer like few weeks sometimes, but worth it.
