What is My Engine???? And Lowering Springs!!

Guys i know this might sound dumb... but I got a little bit confused about my engine. I was Researching and saw that my car which is, civic 99 HX, The engine is VTEC-E... but since it's not written on it i'm confused if its a Vtec or not.

And one more question, If i want lowering springs where do I order them from?

I believe the answer to your question lies here;

http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/VTEC#section_3

It gives a description of what VTEC-E is further down the page.
