weight displacement / shift issue
1998 civic ex.
I recently purchased this car with 120K miles. No repair records.
I replaced a cracked manifold, new plugs, cleaned throttle body,IAC valve and
adjusted valves. Engine runs well, but not getting the gas mileage I was expecting.
Car has a manual transmission, and when I shift (especially from 1st to 2nd gear) the car jerks and feels like the weight shifts from front to back to front again. I have owned a few manuals in my life, and it's not my driving.
It feels as if the parking brake is engaged, even though it's not, or possibly partially stuck caliber. Any suggestions?

Re: weight displacement / shift issue
Maybe a stuck caliper...(less)
or Motor mounts loose at this point (more)... 120K miles. Check those and replace. I bet that fixes it.
i did motor mounts on my Prelude SH and it made a world of improvement. HUGE!
