@ 1500 rpm car will sputter

@ 1500 rpm car will sputter
the check engine light came on & when i held the rpm's @ 1500 it sputtered but was fine at higher rpm just when i held it @ 1500. The car wont do it all the time if you turn the car off & restart it, its fine. I just replace the IACV but its still acting up. The exhaust smells strong when its sputtering. Any help on what the problem could be? Its a 97 civic with a jdm D16A w/ Y8 intake.

yea the same thing happend to me but i followed the steps http://www.2carpros.com/articles/che...on-or-flashinghere to fix my light and it worked for my k20 eg
