Couple Q's? in a dilemma..

ok just bought a 97 EX..Ive ordered tail lights on ebay before and theyve worked out great for me..so thats where im purchasing them for my Civic. I also saw some short shifters for like 10 bucks...i dont mind waiting and saving up more money for a name brand but if these are going to be no different for me (since i baby my car) id rather save the money. typically i know its not okay to buy actual parts on ebay but am very curious.

And what do you guys think of halo's or no halo's? either way im not getting HIDs. any bad feedback on halo's?

Re: Couple Q's? in a dilemma..

The $10 short shifters don't make much difference, my friend had one so I can speak from experience having driven his car. I've heard of one breaking off while driving as well, which I'm sure is very uncommon though. Generally if you want to make a real impact it's best to save up and buy a short shifter that replaces the entire box.

If I were going to go the route of a budget short shifter I would just buy a taller ***** shift ****, personally.

The only problems most people have with halos is they have very poor light output and they tend to fog up.

Is there a cheaper short shifter that I can get that is also shorter in length as well as throw? I personally don't like how high the stock one sits and I've heard that a lot of the short shifters are still the same length as stock.

I can't think of one off hand, most people prefer to go higher than stock.

Maybe a different shift **** would help?

Possibly a different one will help. Just got the car and have only used the stock one so far.
