94 auto trans into 96 hatch
Hi guys, I have a quick question for you Civic gurus here.
My son has a 96 Civic hatch with a very leaky transmission input seal. I bought a used transmission out of a 94 in good condition off a friend who did a manual swap.
So my question is will an automatic transmission from a 5th gen fit into a 6th gen and bolt right up to the engine, or are there differences in the two transmissions that make this not possible? Will there be computer related problems with this swap?
