thinking about buying a 2000 civic ex

so after taking a friend car shopping, i found a 2000 civic ex 5 speed with 160,000 miles. they havent checked it out or anything really yet but it is ALL stock except its sitting on cut springs (with about 3 inches of clearance under the car lol) which i will replace if i buy but i wanted to see what you guys thought about it.

also how well does 6th gens respond to bolt ons? like cai and exhaust

i also have a 2004 civic but id like to eventually make this car a nice turbo sleeper lol

I do not have a 6th gen but i am sure with the right bolt ons they are fine..as for the cut springs i would replace them..that is the Cheap ghetto way to ruin your suspension IMO.
