96 civic hesitates badly from stop
96 civic hesitates badly from stop
Hi everyone, I've done a search and didn't find an answer so here goes. I have a 96 civic that after the head gasket was allegedly replaced, the car idles great, runs on the highway pretty good, but when accelerating from a stop light, the car doesn't go anywhere! When it's running on the highway, if a long hill comes, the car tends to slow down and will need to upshift. As for starting from a stop, It just waits and waits, for the longest 5 seconds until I can get the idle up to get going. I've changed plugs, wires, fuel filter. What could it be??? Please help.
Thanks,
Thanks,

have you check the map senor or the tps senors. I would problem have to say ur first beat would be the map senor bc it regulates the air flow and all try pulling the idle air control and cleaning it with brake cleaner.
