Tranny Swap

ok so im putting a new tranny in my d16 and im just wanting to get some feedback on what type of fluid i should use. redline mtl, royal purple, honda mtl, synchromesh. which ones are better and why.

mike98 is an unknown quantity at this point

(assuming you have an automatic transmission) Use Honda fluid. Its a bit more pricey but thats what honda recommends. Your transmission will run much smoother with Honda fluid than with any other brand.

i've also heard that syncromesh leaves wax in your motor when it goes bad. and royal purple is better for engines and redline for gear oil.

I have an automatic, but I use royal purple in my engine and tons of my friends use it in their manual transmissions and love it.
