Trans interchange for 99 Si w/B16

Hey all, wasn't sure where to post this, newbie here, but I own a 99 Si that I use for alot of freeway driving and was wondering what transmissions will interchange? I know the stock trans has 5.39 final and was wanting one with a higher final drive... Does anyone know of one that will swap in with little to no problem?? I have wrenched cars many years, even in shops, but am new to this scene and don't know what fits what yet.. Any help will be greatly appreciated!!

Re: Trans interchange for 99 Si w/B16

you will need a B-Series transmission One from an Integra will also fit anything from 1995-2001 though you will lose some acceleration due to the slightly higher gear ratios so i think id go that route you will have a wide range of prices to choose from to fit your budget

Awesome info, thank you all much. It looked like the integra was very similar so that's what I'll probably do.. My Si trans is fine just wound tight at 75 on the interstate... Thanks for your comments..

Take lots of pics while you do it please!!

If you can afford LSD then go for it man, that's a sick upgrade and definitely on my future mod list.
