Re: helpin the newbie out general info on 98 civic ex

isnt the resonator on the exhaust is the one that plays the role in the back pressure,
i remember i road in a friend 99 honda civic ex single vtec 5 speed and all he had was short ram, that thing top out at 120 and wouldnt move any further,
another thing towards power gains is keeping the car light as possible
dont add any heavy speakers in the trunk cuz you end up going slower , and if you going towards a b18 swap then save all the money and dont add anything else to ur current motor, upgrading to a diffrent motor will give u better power gain and more doors to other mods

Re: helpin the newbie out general info on 98 civic ex

hey guys havent been on in a few days checking back in. like i said previously rite now i dont have a muffler while trying to put it back on realized that one the exhaust pipe is rusted to the point that i aint getting my coupler back anytime soon and two tht my muffler is growing a hole in the side. now i said previously that i was thinking meghan exhaust system now my question to all is whether just getting the cat back exhaust now and waiting on the headers for later or should i wait for the money and get all at once?
