New (kind of) owner

I just purchased a 98 civic EX and I'm having a lot of fun with it. It has almost 195K and it needs some work. I have a few oil leaks and the cv joints are popping. I'm looking for a good shop in the Houston/Baytown, Tx. area that specializes in Hondas. I bought this car for 1200.00 so my boys could learn how to drive a 5-speed but I wouldn't mind putting some money into it (performance-wise)as long as it doesn't affect fuel economy too much. I'm 43 yrs. old so I'm not looking to sink outrageous money. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: New (kind of) owner

look into getting an air intake, it will give a sweet sound, i always run short ram intakes as i dont want to risk sucking water up with a full cold air intake, it is the cheapest mod you can do and if anything it will help with fuel economy
