so latly i been notice a strong smell coming from the heater vent, and once i had the time to open my hood i notice wet oil right beneath the vtec solonoid,
before it wasnt leaking bad and i went ahead and replace valve cover gasket.
and order the gasket for the solonoid, and today i had some spare time to work on it and heres my results
this is camera phone ftl pic
milage
on jack stand left side so i can drain out the oil since it's time and winter is here
oil drain
so i went ahead and took it apart and damn that gasket was done and hard to take out
heres the pieces
finaly the stubborn parts came off and cam cap snap in half when i try to pry it out with a flat head
at this time of season in new england it does get cold lucky i went to home depot and refill my tank
new parts will be put on tomarrow since my gf came over and wanted to go shopping, i will be cleaning up the mess tomarrow and put in fresh oil and filter
stay tuned

Sweet ride. Red calipers are a nice touch. So are the blacked headlights. Mine are too. They blend real good with black. You get the windows tinted it'll look even sleeker.
Keep us updated. The pics are great. Take more if you can. lol

so today i get to do a lil more i put everything back together
clean out inside and went for a wheel alignment
since i replace steering rack and pinion.
so here is wat i left off last night
today was so cold even the heater couldnt keep up
freaking low 20 degrees
cam cap was very hard to put in
i had to use oil to help it go on
new gasket is a go
mobil one yummy
so i took out the seats and man wat a mess
i took out the seats so it gives me enough space to
tighten up the bolts thats connect the steering to the pinion
vacuum ftl it barely suck up anything
everything is put back together
whats this cel light, cant scare me
this is where my laptop comes in handy
well to translate this, i forgot to plug in the sensor on the intake side
reset please
no more cel light
job done and now off to get an alignment
stay tuned for more project
