Cooling Fan and AC
Cooling Fan and AC
Is the radiator cooling fan supposed to run while the AC is on? My cooling fan is developing a tendency to come on late, and it doesn't come on when I turn the AC on.
The AC's fan comes on.
Just looking for a confirmation that the cooling fan on a '99 Civic should be on as long as the AC is on.
If it is supposed to be on while the AC is running, and it isn't, might I be looking at a bad relay?
(I've already replaced the thermostat, the fan switch, the coolant sensor, and the radiator. The fan works--I've tested it to the battery, and I've also jumped the ground connection to the fan switch. The fan just doesn't seem to turn on when it should.)
